The greetings card industry has a lot to answer for when it comes to providing sentiments for all occasions.
I offer a few helpful suggestions for cards about plastic surgery, incarceration, divorce, and dead-end jobs.
In a life-imitates-art twist, shortly after I wrote the script for this episode I heard about Life’s Lemons . . . a company which is doing exactly what I suggested. (Although they’re a lot less caustic than I am.)
